Want to spice up your kitchen with a fun and easy DIY? Well that is exactly what we did in our recent Anaheim flip! We have our stove hood that we made out of wood and then stained it ourselves. Staining is very simple all you need is a wood stain you like, some rags to wipe off the excess, and a sealer to prevent stains from forming on the wood. The process of staining and sealing took us 1 hour to do and 24 hours to dry. You can get all the supplies you need at your neighborhood Home Depot or Lowes. Follow the step by step instructions down below!

Step 1: Take your hood off the wall

Step 2: Pick your wood stain

Step 3: Take a paint brush or rag and gently apply stain

Step 4: Depending on how dark you want the color wipe off the stain after applying it

Step 5: Use sealer generously over stained area

Step 6: Let it dry for recommend time on can

Step 7: Hang back up and Enjoy
